Touched by the plight of underprivileged children in Sabah, a group of MRSM Kulim alumni is raising funds for a hostel project so that the children have a conducive environment to study. MEERA MURUGESAN writes.

Have you heard that they had an AGM 25 July and decided that the President of Ansaraku and Treasurer will be from killerbatch. It is the first time we have been asked to lead the association. In addition to myself and Haji Roslan Ahmad (C), Nan is also on the 2009/2010 committee. I have been thinking the last one week ever since I heard the news and this is what I think...

I stumbled upon this e-mail again this morning and I just nodded in agreement and smiled broadly. I think this is the best e-mail in the run up to our reunion on 7 February, 2009. THURSDAY - Anxiety and Excitement

I picked up Meor from his office near KLCC at 4.30pm and rushed to airport to catch the 6.20pm flight. We were running late and I drove at around 160 km/h as I know Killerbatch Penang are already in KK and we must not miss the flight. Nan and Kamarudin were already at the airport when we arrived. After all the F1 driving, we were told that the flight will be delayed for 90 minutes!!! We took with us 50 school bags (out of 300 committed) from Jukebox and 5 boxes of books from Anzagain (Osman Hamzah). Had to pay RM200 excess baggage. That's RM15 per kg over the 15kg limit!
